Monty Rainey, owner of RPM Storage Management, LLC has been involved in self storage management since 1994. His background includes working as a District Manager for one of the nation’s largest REIT’s and as a District Manager for a large self storage management company before starting RPM in 2014.

Monty’s ebook, CROSS Training: Components of Revenue Optimization for Self Storage is the foundation of revenue management for hundreds of self storage properties across the United States.Experience includes new development properties, feasibility studies, due diligence analysis of existing properties, staff hiring and training and all areas of self storage property management.

Over the years, Monty has led the successful management of over 150 properties in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.Monty began RPM in 2014 and has grown the company to more than 1.2 million square feet under management.

Alan Jamison – DM

Alan has more than 16 years of Regional Manager experience including 10 years in the self-storage industry. After successful management of storage properties in Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Alan joined RPM as a District Manager in February of 2021 where he oversees operations of all Houston area and Bryan/College Station properties in the RPM portfolio.

Garett Bagwell- DM

Garett has over 16+ years of experience as a Regional Operations Director, District Manager, and an Acquisitions/Transitions Manager with asset portfolios in the storage industry. Garett joined RPM as a District Manager in October of 2021 where he oversees operations of all San Antonio and Austin properties and surrounding areas in the RPM portfolio. Garett brings a unique specialized experience in operational and asset P&L along with identifying key performance indicators to optimize a facility's needs.

Jon DeGuzman - DM

Jon DeGuzman was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to Texas when 8 years old.  After college, Jon started his career in the food service industry, working up from General Manager, to Training Manager and finally District Manager. Jon then transitioned to self storage with SecurCare Self Storage as an area manager and was promoted to a regional manager for the Texas division.   Jon and his wife Beverly have 4 children and Jon serves as the worship pastor at LifePointe Church in Crowley, TX.

Amanda Ackerman – CFO

Amanda graduated from St Phillips College of Nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in 1999. After working as a Labor & Delivery LVN, Amanda left the nursing field and took a position as Office Manager for Hatcher Construction in Garden Ridge in 2009. In 2014, Amanda joined her family business of RPM Storage Management, LLC as Chief Financial Officer and Co-Owner. Amanda also serves her community as the Republican Party Precinct Chair for Precinct 3.

Debbie Brittain – Bookkeeper

With 40+ years in accounting. Debbie came to RPM after 7 years of doing QuickBooks AR, AP, payroll, federal taxes, and IRS negotiations for a local auction company. Debbie joined the RPM Accounting Staff in 2020.  

Gail Legnon – Bookkeeper

Taught by the IRS, accounting procedures, HR & payroll; Gail brings over 45 years of accounting and administration to RPM. She holds an MBA from Ashworth College. She has received several accreditations, such as The Department of the Army for accommodating medical personnel during the beginning of the cold war & a certificate as a certified Finance specialist. Gail began with RPM in 2017.

Jodean Pelzman – Bookkeeper

Over 40 years in various Administrative and Executive Director level positions.  Jodean has experience in diverse areas of business and administration. Jodean joined the bookkeeping staff at RPM in 2018. She is a Member of Wimberley Presbyterian Church and currently serving a three-year term as a Church Elder.
